Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information I collect when you visit the BA Professional Programmes website or get in touch with me, why I collect it and how I look after it.
Last updated: 29 October 2026
Who I am
This website is run by Christopher Usina, who is based in the UK and offers Business Analysis training through BA Professional Programmes. I am the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
If you have any questions about this policy or your information, email training@chrisusina.com.
What information I collect
When you get in touch
If you message me, email me or contact me on social media, I receive your name, your contact details and anything you include in your message, such as your career goals or questions about a programme.
When you book a time
If you book a session or webinar through my online booking page or the booking form on this website, I receive your name, email address, mobile number, the date you chose and any notes you add.
If you become a client or learner
I keep the information needed to deliver what you signed up for. This may include session notes, documents you share with me such as your CV, and payment and invoice records. When you pay online, your card details are entered on Stripe’s secure checkout and are never seen or stored by me.
When you visit this website
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It counts visits in a simple, anonymous way: your browser remembers for 90 days which website or campaign link brought you here (for example LinkedIn), and the site counts one visit per browsing session. No cookies, IP addresses or personal details are stored for this. If you then sign up, enquire or enrol, that source is saved with your details so I know which of my posts are useful. Like most websites, the hosting provider also records basic technical information, such as your browser type, to keep the site secure and working.
If you enter your details on the enrol page but don't complete payment, I may send you up to two reminder emails about your saved basket, and may contact you once to ask if you need help. You agreed to this when you ticked the box on the enrol page, and you can ask me to stop at any time.
If you choose to stay in touch
On the enrol page and the testimonial form you can choose, by ticking optional boxes, to be invited to the learner and alumni community, BA events and internship opportunities, and for me to ask you about your results after a course, such as exams passed or roles gained. If you share results, I may use them in anonymous, combined figures (for example "16 learners passed a BCS exam"). I will only name you if you agree separately. You can change your mind at any time by emailing me.
How I use your information
- To reply to your messages and answer your questions.
- To arrange, deliver and follow up on sessions, webinars and programmes.
- To keep financial records and meet my legal obligations.
- To improve my services, for example by understanding which topics people ask about most.
I will never sell your personal information. I will only send you marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them, and you can stop them at any time.
My lawful bases for using your information
- Legitimate interests: replying to enquiries and running my services in a reasonable way.
- Contract: taking steps you ask for before you sign up, and delivering the service you have booked.
- Legal obligation: meeting my legal and regulatory obligations.
- Consent: where I ask for it, for example before sharing a testimonial or sending updates. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Third parties
Your information may be handled by:
- Messaging and social media services, if you contact me through them.
- Calendar, booking and email services.
- Domain and website hosting services.
- Stripe, which processes online payments.
- Netlify, which hosts this website and stores enrolment and booking forms.

- Any learning platform used to deliver your programme, which I will tell you about before you sign up.
How long I keep your information
- Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: up to 12 months.
- Client and learner records, including invoices: 6 years after your last session, to meet legal requirements.
If you would like me to delete your information sooner, ask me and I will do so where the law allows.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information I hold about you;
- ask me to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask me to delete your information;
- ask me to limit how I use your information, or object to how I use it;
